Who I am

Tom, a sole trader trading as TDB Media Solutions. I'm the controller of the information described here. Address: Virtual Office, High Wycombe. Email: tom@tdbmediasolutions.com.

If I contacted your business

I contact local businesses that I think could use a website or online booking. To decide who to contact, and to build a free preview of a site for them, I collect information that businesses publish about themselves:

• business name, trade, address, published phone number and email address, website and opening hours;
• Google rating, the text of recent public Google reviews, and photos the business published on Google;
• whether the business is a registered company, from Companies House.

Where it comes from: Google Maps, the business's own website, and Companies House.

Why, and the lawful basis: to offer relevant services to businesses, which is my legitimate interest. I only email businesses registered as companies, and only at addresses they publish. I don't buy lists, and I don't track whether you open emails.

How long I keep it: up to 6 months, then it is deleted unless you become a client. If you ask me not to contact you, I keep only your email address or business name on a do-not-contact list, permanently, so it never happens again.

Previews: preview sites are marked as previews, hidden from search engines, and taken down after about 45 days.

Your rights

You can ask me what I hold about you, ask me to correct or delete it, or object to me using it. Just reply to any email or write to tom@tdbmediasolutions.com. Replying "no thanks" to any email stops all contact.

You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Clients

If you become a client, your details and any customer information your website collects are handled under our agreement, and deleted from my systems when the work ends.

This website and previews

No cookies, no advertising trackers. This site and preview sites use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page visits without identifying individuals.

Who else sees it

Services I use to do this work: Google (email and Maps data), Cloudflare (hosting), and Anthropic (AI drafting). I don't sell or share your information with anyone else.
